Nigella World and Bangladesh’s prominent educational institution, BRAC University, have joined forces to establish a Blockchain Academy aimed at promoting blockchain technology education and adoption in the country. This collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), seeks to unlock the potential of blockchain across various sectors, including agriculture, finance, supply chain management, and the public sector.
The agreement was signed by BRAC University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ferhat Anwar, and Nigella World’s Chairman, Fatih Eke. Through this partnership, Nigella World will bring its global expertise in blockchain technology to BRAC University, enriching the academic curriculum with innovative content. Meanwhile, BRAC University will provide robust academic infrastructure, research opportunities, and extensive community support to the Blockchain Academy.
The academy will offer students both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, with hands-on training and project-based learning opportunities. Students will have the chance to integrate blockchain solutions into real-world applications, helping them develop valuable skills for their future careers. Additionally, the academy’s research and projects aim to demonstrate the impact of blockchain technology on social and economic growth in Bangladesh.
Nigella World and BRAC University’s Blockchain Academy will inspire young people in Bangladesh to take an interest in blockchain, encouraging the development of new talents in this field.
